Super berry cinnamon and honey granola

Begin your week with this delicious, homemade granola. Make a batch of this filled with wholegrain oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit, and topped with your favourite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 150g wholegrain rolled oats
  • 50g flaked almonds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 25g sunflower seeds
  • 15g sesame seeds
  • 25g demerara sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp clear honey
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 50g dried cranberries
  • 50g dried blueberries

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 3, 170°C, fan 150°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix the oats, nuts, seeds, and berries. Heat the sugar, cinnamon, honey and oil together in a small pan, stirring until smooth, then pour onto the oat mixture. Mix well.
  3. Tip the mixture into a large roasting tin. Bake for 10 mins, stir well then bake for a further 10 mins or until golden, crisp and forming lumps.
  4. Leave to cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 10 days.
