Gin and lemon iced green tea recipe

Nothing evokes the taste of summer quite like a cool, clinking pitcher of iced tea which gets brought up a notch with a touch of gin and crisp apple, lemon and ginger juice. Give it a good stir and enjoy in the sunshine.

- 4 green teabags
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- ice cubes
- 200ml Tesco Finest Melodist London Dry Gin
- 200ml apple, lemon & ginger juice
- 1 lemon, sliced, plus extra slices to serve

- Put the green teabags, caster sugar and 1 sliced lemon in a heatproof jug. Top up with 600ml boiled water and set aside to steep for 5 mins. Stir well, then strain, discarding the teabags and lemon. Set aside to cool to room temperature, then transfer to the fridge to chill.
- Once cold, half-fill a large jug with ice cubes and stir in the Tesco Finest Melodist London Dry Gin, the apple, lemon & ginger juice and the tea. Garnish with extra lemon slices to serve.
