Sharing your details with loyalty card apps
Some apps are built to conveniently keep all of your loyalty cards, like Clubcard, in one space. Tesco are not associated with any 3rd party apps like this. These apps collect your details, which means they can access information about you - like your name, address, telephone number, date of birth and your shopping habits. Sometimes, you have to also give these apps access to your username and password for your Clubcard, giving hackers an increased chance of accessing your account.
Loyalty card apps may share your details
Companies that manage 3rd party loyalty apps may also sell your personal data to other companies, so make sure to read their T&Cs. Unfortunately, Tesco has no control over 3rd party apps and how they share your data. We strongly recommend you only share your Clubcard details with Tesco affiliated apps and websites. If in any doubt, please call our customer service team and they'll be happy to help.
People selling Clubcard vouchers online
Tesco Clubcard vouchers aren’t available to buy or sell, this goes against our terms and conditions. If you do take part in this, it can mean your account will be deactivated.
