Frequently asked questions

What are the new plan types? We've launched the following 3 new plan types, which will replace the Any day plan, see the Delivery Saver homepage (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver) for more plan details: • Anytime delivery plan - deliveries and collections anytime, including same-day but excluding Whoosh. Includes priority access to Christmas and Easter delivery and collection slots. Standard delivery on Marketplace products is also now included as part of the Anytime delivery plan. • Off Peak delivery plan - deliveries from 3pm any day, excluding Whoosh, and free collections anytime, including same-day collections. There's no priority access to Christmas and Easter slots under this plan. • Click+Collect plan - collections anytime, including same-day. Plus, priority access to Christmas and Easter collection slots only. Why are we introducing the new plans? We've created the new plans to help you save on your weekly shopping, as well as to give you more options to suit the way you shop. What will happen to my subscription after the launch of the new plans? Your current subscription will remain active and you don't need to do anything for now. Over the coming months, we'll start moving existing Delivery Saver customers to one of the new plans. Nothing will happen for now and we'll notify you closer to your renewal date about the upcoming change. If you'd prefer to renew onto one of the new plans before then, you can select one of them through the My Plan page. Just make sure you select the new plan before your renewal date. Can I book a Flexi-saver slot? Yes, you can book a Flexi-saver slot, delivery charges are applied in the same way as your plan benefit. For example, if you're an Off Peak Delivery Saver customer, Flexi-saver slots that start from or after 3pm will be free. So the earliest Flexi-saver slot that you can book without needing to pay a delivery charge is 3-7pm. If you're on the Click+Collect plan and want to book a Flexi-saver slot, you'll have to pay the regular Flexi-saver slot fee. What are the changes to priority access to Christmas and Easter slots? Off Peak delivery plan customers will no longer have priority access to Christmas and Easter slots. Click+Collect plan customers will have early access to collection slots only. Anytime delivery plan customers will have priority access to Christmas and Easter slots. We can't guarantee delivery or collection slot availability, but we'll provide priority access to you, so that you have the opportunity to book a Christmas or Easter delivery slot before customers who aren't on the plan. Deliveries and collections are unavailable on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Can I subscribe to the new Delivery Saver plan if I have cancelled my subscription or my account is suspended? Yes, before you can choose one of the new Delivery Saver plans, you'll need to visit the My Plan page (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver/manage) to reactive your subscription. Once reactivated, you'll be able to change your Delivery Saver plan. If your payment card has expired, you'll need to update your payment card details on My Plan page (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver/manage) before you can choose a new plan.

Why are you moving me onto a new plan at renewal? We've recently made some changes to Delivery Saver and launched 3 new plans, giving you new ways to save even more. At the end of your current plan, your subscription will automatically renew and will be updated to one of these new plans. What will happen to my subscription? At the end of your current plan, your subscription will automatically renew and will be updated to a new plan. We'll be in touch to let you know what's happening at least 30 days before moving you to one of the new plans. We'll also email you a reminder closer to your renewal date. We'll move you onto the new plan that most closely matches your existing plan and suits your needs. This means you could see changes to your subscription, including changes in the price, terms and/or benefits. If you're not happy with the plan we've chosen, you can go to the My Plan page (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver/manage) to see your options and easily pick a different plan. How do I find out the differences between my current subscription and the new plans? Once we've been in touch with you 30 days before your renewal, your My Plan page (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver/manage) will have all the details of your new and existing plan. What will happen to my orders when I move to a new plan or cancel my plan? Any orders you've placed will continue to be included in your plan until the date your plan is cancelled If you're on an Any Day plan and move to an Off Peak delivery or Click+Collect plan, you may be charged a fee, if the order is after your renewal date and outside of your new plan's free delivery/collection times. For example, the Off Peak delivery plan includes free deliveries for slots after 3pm. So, if you move to this plan but already have an order booked for before 3pm, then you'll be charged a delivery fee for that order. What will happen to my eCoupons when moving to one of the new plans? If you've applied your eCoupon ahead of moving to a new plan, it'll be automatically transferred. To use an eCoupon, you must apply it before your renewal date. If your eCoupon is less than the value of your plan, then you can use additional eCoupons to make up any difference in value. Otherwise, the remainder of the plan price will be taken from the payment card we have on record for you. Please check to make sure your payment card details are up to date. If your eCoupon is for more than the value of your plan, you'll lose any value that is over the price of your chosen renewal plan. If your eCoupon is more than £1.50 over your new plan price, the eCoupon could be rejected and you may be charged in full from your payment card. If you have trouble redeeming your eCoupon or would like to know more, please contact us on 0800 323 4040*. Or send us a message via 0800 917 7403 or wa.me/448009177403 from mobile devices. What is Delivery Saver? Delivery Saver is our subscription-based delivery service, designed to help you reduce the cost of home deliveries for your grocery orders. Once you sign up, any orders you place via Tesco online will be delivered to your home or chosen delivery address, or through our Click+Collect service from your local store. You can do that once a day, every day, as long as your plan is valid. Are there any basket or ordering rules? At final checkout, your Tesco grocery order will need to total £50 or more for home deliveries and £25 for Click+Collect. Don't worry if your order falls below this threshold if there are substitutions, or products are unavailable, you won't be charged for the delivery or collection. If your order does not meet the minimum spend, you will be charged a minimum basket charge of £5. Shopping with Marketplace? Find out basket and ordering rules for Marketplace products at https://www.tesco.com/help/pages/online-grocery-faqs/marketplace How do I sign up? Just go to our home page (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver) and click 'sign up'. Once you're signed up, you can start placing orders straight away, without paying an additional delivery charge. Just as long as your order meets any minimum spend requirements. Can I use any credit or debit card to sign up? You can use any Visa Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Tesco Credit Card. Unfortunately we are unable to accept sign-ups using Visa Electron or Maestro cards. How much could I save? That depends how often you shop, but with our Delivery Saver guarantee you'll never miss out. If you spend more on a plan than you would've done on Tesco grocery deliveries, we'll email you an eCoupon with the difference within 21 days of your plan ending. Our Delivery Saver guarantee excludes spend on Marketplace products. How many deliveries can I have? Once you're signed up, you can have a delivery every day your plan is valid if you wish, as long as it's no more than once a day and there are slots available. Just choose the day and time you want from the available slots. Can I get my groceries delivered to different addresses? Yes, of course you can. There is no restriction on the number of different addresses you can have orders delivered to, as long as it's no more than one grocery delivery per day in total. Can I book multiple orders? Yes, you can for grocery home shopping delivery or collection slots. Head to 'My orders' and select the order you would like to amend. Just remember to check out your order to confirm changes. You can also book a Whoosh delivery by clicking 'book a Whoosh slot'. Once I'm signed up, how quickly can I start using Delivery Saver? Right away on any new orders. You can even use it on Tesco grocery orders you've already placed. All you have to do is amend the order: you can add or remove an item, or change the delivery slot - this action will activate your Delivery Saver plan and you will not be charged for the delivery. Will I earn Clubcard points on my subscription? Yes, for every whole pound you spend on your Delivery Saver plan, you will earn one point. Can I use Clubcard vouchers to pay for my Delivery Saver plan when I sign up? Yes, you can use your vouchers towards a Delivery Saver plan. When you exchange your Clubcard vouchers, your Delivery Saver Reward Partner codes will be worth the same value as your voucher. Simply go to our Delivery Saver page on our Clubcard site (https://secure.tesco.com/clubcard/vouchers/delivery-saver-plan/UK-009888.prd), where you can exchange your vouchers for a Delivery Saver code which will be valid for 6 months. You can either pay for a whole plan this way or pay partly with vouchers and the rest with cash. Just make sure you apply your Reward Partner code before your renewal date. Also, before you exchange your voucher for a Delivery Saver code, check the price of your plan on the My Plan page. If you wish to change to a different plan, you can check the price on our Delivery Saver homepage (https://www.tesco.com/deliverysaver). Codes that exceed the price of your plan by £1.50 won't be accepted. If the code is more than the value of your plan, you'll lose any amount that is over the price of your plan. If you're on a monthly payment, the value of your Reward Partner code will be divided evenly to discount your payment each month. What are Marketplace products? Marketplace products are sold alongside Tesco groceries on Tesco.com and will be clearly labelled as Marketplace. Marketplace products are dispatched and delivered to you directly from our trusted partners. Tesco will deliver your Tesco bought groceries ordered from Tesco stores just like before, while Marketplace items will be delivered directly from the seller.
