Sticky pork stir-fry recipe

A stir-fry is a failsafe quick and easy dinner, this family-friendly, dairy-free version uses pork loin steaks, loads of veg and classic stir-fry flavours of garlic, ginger, chilli and soy. Serve it with fluffy white rice or on top of sticky rice noodles.

Ingredients
- 4cm (1.5in) piece ginger, peeled and grated
- 2tsp honey
- 2tbsp light soy sauce
- 10ml (2tsp) dry sherry
- 660g thin cut pork loin steaks
- sesame oil
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 200g stir-fry veg
- 2tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
- ½ red chilli, finely sliced
- rice or noodles, to serve

Method
- Mixginger, honey, soy and sherry in a bowl. Cutporkinto thin strips and add to bowl. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Heat a dash of sesame oil in a wok, sizzle garlic until golden. Stir fry veg until softened. Set aside.
- Add a dash more oil to pan, add half the pork and stir-fry until browned. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest of pork. Return everything to the pan and stir for a minute. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chilli. Serve with rice or noodles.
