Turn beer into an instant refreshing slushie with this frozen lageritas recipe. Blitz together low-alcohol beer, non-alcoholic spirit, sugar and plenty of lime for an easy summer cocktail recipe, served in a pitcher.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp soft brown sugar
  • 4 limes, 3 juiced, 1 sliced
  • 75ml Seedlip Spice 94 non-alcoholic spirit
  • 2 x 500ml bottles low-alcohol beer
  • crushed ice
  • 2 tbsp Maldon sea salt

Method

  1. Put the sugar, lime juice, Seedlip and 1 bottle of beer in a food processor with 3 generous handfuls of crushed ice. Blend until the ice has started to break down, then pour into a large jug and top up with the remaining beer and the lime slices.
  2. Scatter the sea salt onto a saucer. Dip the rim of a glass in water, then dip in the salt.
  3. Fill the glasses with lagerita and serve immediately.
