Choose the lighter option for your alfresco drinks with this white wine sangria, making the most of low-alcohol wine and sparkling water to give plenty of fizz and freshness.

Ingredients

  • 1 large peach, stoned and cut into 8 wedges
  • 200g strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 5g fresh mint leaves
  • 250g ice cubes
  • 75cl Viña del Cura Rioja Blanco
  • 100ml elderflower cordial
  • 100-300ml sparkling water, to taste

Method

  1. Stone 1 large peach and cut into 8 wedges.
  2. Add to a 2ltr jug with 200g hulled and quartered strawberries, 1 cored and thinly sliced Granny Smith apple and 5g fresh mint leaves. Add 250g ice cubes.
  3. Pour in a 75cl bottle Viña del Cura Rioja Blanco and 100ml elderflower cordial; stir.
  4. Top up with 100-300ml sparkling water to taste.
