Paneer and chilli naans

This cheat's recipe is a great way to spice up plain naan breads to serve alongside your favourite Indian-inspired feast. Simply top with crumbly paneer, fiery green chilli and fresh garlic, bake and enjoy with a sprinkle of zesty coriander and seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely diced
  • 100g paneer, finely grated
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 45g butter, melted
  • 3 Tesco Finest plain naans, halved
  • ½ tsp nigella seeds
  • 5g fresh coriander, chopped, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200°C, fan 180°C. Mix the chilli, paneer and garlic with 1½ tbsp melted butter.
  2. Put the naans on a baking tray and brush with the remaining butter. Top with the cheese mix, then the nigella seeds.
  3. Bake for 8 mins or until the cheese has melted and the naans are golden. Sprinkle with the coriander to serve.
