Air-fryer chunky chips recipe

This chunky chips recipe is an absolute must-try for anyone with an air-fryer. Made with just three ingredients, these chips are super simple and are bound to become a new family favourite.

Ingredients
- 800g Maris Piper potatoes, peeled
- 1 tbsp groundnut or vegetable oil
- pinch of flaky sea salt

Method
- Slice the potatoes lengthways into 1cm thick chips and put into a bowl of cold water for 5 mins to soak.
- Preheat the air-fryer to 200°C.
- Drain the chips and pat dry with kitchen roll. Toss with the oil and sea salt until evenly coated. Tip into the basket, in a roughly even layer – you may need to cook them in 2 batches.
- Cook for 20-25 mins, shaking occasionally, until well browned.
- Tip into a bowl, sprinkle with a little more salt and let cool for 5 mins before serving.
