New fridge pots may be healthier all round
Other reviewers are complaining about the new fridge pots. The point is, they are BPA-free (unlike the tins) and therefore much healthier. You can also store unused portions in the pot in the fridge (unlike the tins). All the packaging can be recycled. Worth bearing in mind that all tins contain BPA and as a hormone disrupter, it will end up in our rivers, seas and water supplies. Therefore, as long as this is recycled, then these BPA-free plastic pots are better all round, for your health and the environment. Of course the mercury in tuna is another matter altogether.... It tastes great and the new fridge pots are very convenient.
Delicious tuna, really god quality. One star taken
Delicious tuna, really god quality. One star taken off for the packaging - one cardboard sleeve, 3 plastic tubs with lids, 3 plasticised foil tops (which can't be recycled) - too much really.
Back in a tin please!
Good quality tuna with no waste water, but why has it now been put in a plastic tub not a tin. John west are supposedly an environmentally friendly company.
