Welcome to Tesco Wine by the case.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
California has been on the Fine Wine map since the 1960s, but it's only in the last couple of decades that the Southern Hemisphere countries have been regarded as producers of serious wine, which reflects the speed of development. For example, the first vines were only planted in New Zealand's Marlborough region in 1973 - now many regard their Sauvignon Blancs as the best in the world. Regionality is becoming increasingly important as a focus for quality in the New World - such as Australia's Coonawarra for Cabernet Sauvignon and South Africa's Walker Bay for Pinot Noir.
