What is Delivery Saver?

Delivery Saver is our subscription based grocery delivery service. By paying a one off payment you become a member of our delivery service which applies to any order you then place at Tesco.com/grocery. Membership means that you can receive one grocery delivery per day(on the days your plan is valid), without paying delivery charges – the more you shop the more you save on delivery charges. A minimum order cost of £40 per order applies.

How do I sign up?

Simply go to www.tesco.com/deliverysaver, select the plan that suits you most and click to purchase. Once you've signed up you can place orders immediately without paying an additional delivery charge (subject to a minimum order value of £40).

How much could I save?

The amount you save depends on how often you shop and the cost that you usually pay for delivery – See the individual plan details for more information on the savings you can make.

How many deliveries can I have?

You can have one delivery per day on the days your plan is valid.

Are the delivery slots limited?

You can choose the day and the time that suits you best. All available delivery slots are open to you depending on the days your plan is valid regardless of cost.

Is there a minimum spend?

A minimum order value of just £40 is required which makes Delivery Saver perfect for top up shops too. When you check out your order the value of your goods must be £40 or more. If substitutions are made or products are unavailable when your order is delivered and your order falls below £40 you will not be charged for delivery.

Can I cancel my membership to Tesco Delivery Saver?

You can cancel your plan at any time by calling our customer services team on 0800 323 4040.

We will refund your membership fee if you cancel within 7 days and have not received any Delivery Saver deliveries.

Will my Delivery Saver membership automatically renew?

Your Delivery Saver plan will be automatically renewed on a rolling 3-monthly or 6-monthly basis (depending on the plan you choose) unless you notify us that you wish to cancel. We will send you a renewal reminder 7 days before your renewal payment is taken and you can stop the renewal at any time by calling customer services on 0800 323 4040.

Once I sign up, how quickly can I start using Delivery Saver?

Once you've signed up you can place orders immediately without paying an additional delivery charge. Orders already placed when you sign up will be subject to a delivery charge, but if you change the delivery slot once your membership is activated, you will not be charged separately for that delivery.

When will priority access to Christmas delivery slots open?

If you sign up to a Delivery Saver plan, as an exclusive benefit you will get priority access to book Christmas Delivery slots.

We release the slots towards the end of November. Delivery is subject to availability and we will notify you beforehand (by email or letter) of the exact date so that you know when they are coming.

Do I get any other benefits as a Delivery Saver customer?

As an exclusive benefit for Delivery Saver customers we also give you free delivery on Tesco direct (min £10 spend, excludes sellers), Wine by the case and F&F clothing. You will be sent an email within one week of signing up to Delivery Saver with further details on the offers as well as the eCoupon codes to use. Free delivery on Tesco direct and Wine by the Case is unlimited so you can use it as many times as you like. Free delivery on F&F is valid until 30th June 2014.
