Highlights

  • Prevents crawling insects from climbing trunks and reaching the canopy.
  • Creates a continuous sticky band to block winter moths and other climbing pests.
  • 200g tub, suitable for potted and in-ground trees, reapply as required during winter.

Description

Gardening Naturally Fruit Tree Grease forms a protective sticky band around trunks to stop crawling insects and reduce winter moth damage. Apply a 10cm-wide ring at least 45cm above ground, filling cracks and crevices to prevent pests reaching branches and laying eggs. Suitable for potted and in-ground fruit trees, apply in autumn so the band remains active through winter and into spring, checking and reapplying if needed. Each 200g tub is stored between 15°C and 40°C in a cool, ventilated place. Easy to apply with a stiff brush or carefully with gloves, this grease supports seasonal pest management and can be removed after the winter risk period.
