Description

Soluble Sulphate of Iron is a professional-grade lawn treatment that promotes rich green grass, stronger root development, and improved resistance to disease. Ideal for lawns, sports pitches, and golf courses, it can also be used as an effective moss control treatment. Unlike many damp iron sulphate products, this dry powdered formulation is easy to apply, dissolves readily in water, and is less prone to clumping or blocking spreaders and sprayers. It is suitable for use as both a lawn tonic and moss treatment. Sulphate of Iron helps acidify alkaline soils, encouraging finer grass growth and improving conditions for acid-loving plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, conifers, and heathers. By lowering soil pH, it can also help make essential nutrients more readily available to plants. For moss control, mix 25g per litre of water and apply to 5m². For lawn greening and general maintenance, use 12.5g per litre to treat the same area. Take care to avoid contact with paving and hard surfaces, as the product may cause staining. Store in a sealed, airtight container to prevent moisture absorption.
