Description

Bumper Crop Pre-Seed Lawn Fertiliser is specially formulated to prepare soil for lawn seeding, overseeding, and patch repairs, helping new grass establish quickly and develop strong, healthy roots. Its balanced nutrient blend promotes improved germination rates and vigorous early growth, giving newly sown lawns the best possible start. The fertiliser features an NPK analysis of 6-11-18, with added magnesium and iron to support nutrient uptake, enhance turf colour, and strengthen grass against environmental stress. Nitrogen encourages healthy green growth, phosphorus supports root development, and potassium improves resistance to drought and disease. Trace elements including manganese, copper, zinc, and boron provide additional nutritional support for optimum lawn health. Apply at 25g per m² before sowing grass seed, ensuring even coverage across the area. Water the fertiliser in after application if rain is not expected to reduce the risk of scorching. For best results, consider testing on a small area before treating the entire lawn. Once seeded, newly treated areas should be protected until germination. Covering the ground with garden fleece allows light and water to reach the seed while helping to prevent bird damage and foot traffic. Smaller pack sizes may be supplied in repackaged bags or tubs with full product information, while larger quantities are supplied in the manufacturer's original packaging.
