Description

Avocado Oil "Cold pressed from rescued 'wonky' avocados that would otherwise go to landfill, Omega Pressery's Extra Virgin Avocado Oil proves that great flavour and responsible sourcing can go hand in hand. Working with smallholder farmers across East Africa, the team works to support farmer livelihoods by offering better market pricing for avocado fruits rejected by traditional supply chains for export, helping reduce food waste while supporting farming communities and creating a fully traceable supply chain to origin. Smooth, grassy and herbaceous with delicate ripe avocado notes, this premium oil is naturally rich in monounsaturated fats, Omega-3 and polyphenols. With a naturally high 240°C smoke point, it performs beautifully for roasting, frying, grilling, dressings and finishing, retaining its flavour and nutritional benefits even at higher temperatures. A versatile, chef-quality oil that's every bit as impressive for its story as it is for its performance in the kitchen."
