Description

Bacopa myriophylloides is a unique and attractive aquatic plant known for its fine, feathery foliage that resembles that of the Myriophyllum species. This plant grows vertically, with delicate, needle-like leaves that create a soft, flowing appearance in the aquarium, making it ideal for midground or background placement. Bacopa myriophylloides requires moderate to high lighting to maintain its vibrant green color and healthy growth. While CO2 supplementation is not strictly necessary, it is highly recommended to support its delicate structure and promote faster growth. This plant prefers gentle water flow to prevent damage to its fine leaves, and it thrives in slightly acidic to neutral water conditions. Its moderate to fast growth rate and stunning appearance make it a favorite among aquarists looking to add texture and movement to their aquascapes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Plants are incubated for one hour in a 0.01% solution of the insecticide Buprofezin. Please do not drop them straight into a shrimp tank, or any tank holding other crustaceans. To use them in such a tank, first wash them in water with baking soda, under light. They are treated to remove the insecticide, but there are cases where it has not been fully removed, causing casualties among crustaceans.
