Description

Anubias barteri var. nana is a highly popular and hardy aquarium plant, known for its compact size, thick green leaves, and ability to thrive in low-light conditions. This plant is ideal for aquarists of all levels, from beginners to experts, as it requires minimal care and does not need CO2 supplementation. Anubias nana grows slowly, which means it requires little maintenance and pruning. Its versatility allows it to be placed in the foreground or midground of an aquascape, either attached to rocks or driftwood, or simply anchored to the substrate. The plant's rhizome must remain above the substrate to avoid rot. This durable, low-maintenance plant adds texture and depth to any tank, making it a perfect choice for creating a natural and peaceful underwater environment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Plants are incubated for one hour in a 0.01% solution of the insecticide Buprofezin. Please do not drop them straight into a shrimp tank, or any tank holding other crustaceans. To use them in such a tank, first wash them in water with baking soda, under light. They are treated to remove the insecticide, but there are cases where it has not been fully removed, causing casualties among crustaceans.
