Description

Vesicularia dubyana, commonly known as Java Moss, is a hardy and adaptable aquatic moss valued for its fine, branching growth and deep green colour. Supplied pre-attached to a choice of extra small driftwood, small driftwood, coco shell, or bio-sphere, it provides a convenient, ready-to-place feature that integrates easily into aquariums and paludariums. This moss is fully aquatic and thrives when submerged, tolerating a wide range of water conditions and lighting levels. It offers excellent shelter for shrimp, fry, and beneficial microorganisms, supporting a healthy and natural aquatic environment. Its low maintenance needs and versatility make Java Moss on decorative mounts an ideal option for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Plants are incubated for one hour in a 0.01% solution of the insecticide Buprofezin. Please do not drop them straight into a shrimp tank, or any tank holding other crustaceans. To use them in such a tank, first wash them in water with baking soda, under light. They are treated to remove the insecticide, but there are cases where it has not been fully removed, causing casualties among crustaceans.
