  • BAMBOO PLANTS Slender canes gently arch over, hence the common name of Fountain Bamboo. This plant will thrive in partially shaded areas, but will also tolerate full sun

Description

A well-behaved bamboo plant to grow in your garden, without fear of it taking over! A shorter variety with many smaller canes and a far more delicate appearance than others.See masses of new culms as they grow with a rusty tinge, before greening up and unfurling with masses of dainty, thin evergreen leaves. The canes softly arch over time, inspiring the common name of 'Fountain Bamboo'. Make a striking display by planting in big pots on the patio.Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Plant them where the sun can shine through the canes, or where you can see or hear the breeze gently wafting and rustling through all year - a very sensual plant indeed!Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready to plant out.
