Description

An eye-catching shrub that produces abundant pure white, hollyhock-like flowers from spring to autumn, Lavatera 'Marshmallow White Ice' brings months of colour to sunny borders and containers. The silky, nectar-rich blooms attract bees and other pollinators. Easy to grow and drought-tolerant once established, plant in light, well-drained soil and a sunny position. Supplied as 3 x 9cm potted plants, ideal for quick planting and fast establishment. Care: water on arrival, plant at the same level as the pot, add soil improver for heavy soils, keep well watered and fed until established, and trim in summer if needed.

Product Care InstructionsUnpack and, if the weather is favourable, put outside as soon as it arrives and water. When ready to plant, position in the right location and aspect. Keep the area clear to avoid overcrowding. Dig a hole twice as deep and three times as wide as the rootball; mix in soil improver if soil is heavy and add plant feed before backfilling. Place the plant at the same level as in the pot, firm the soil around it and water thoroughly. Keep well watered and fed for establishment and growth. Trim in summer if needed.
