Description

The Scheppach BTS800 Belt & Disc Sander is a compact dual-function sanding machine designed for shaping, smoothing, and refining wood and similar materials. Combining belt and disc sanding in one unit, it provides versatility for workshop and DIY woodworking projects.Powered by a 370W induction motor, the BTS800 delivers steady performance with reduced vibration for improved control. The 100x280mm sanding belt runs at 7.5m/s and can be positioned horizontally or vertically, making it suitable for flat surfaces, edges, and contours.The 150mm sanding disc rotates at 2850rpm, supporting efficient surface sanding and edge work. The 215x145mm aluminium work table tilts up to 45°, while the mitre guide adjusts from -60° to +60°, allowing accurate bevel and compound angle sanding.Built on a durable cast-iron base for stability, the machine maintains consistent contact pressure during operation. The hook-and-loop sanding system enables quick paper changes, and the integrated dust extraction port allows connection to an external vacuum to help reduce airborne dust.
