Once you have invested in a quality set of knives, you want to make them last as long as possible. If you have invested in a set of our premium knives, a lot of people assume that if they are made with quality material, they can take care of themselves. This is not the case. Pull-Through Sharpeners: With either bands or wheels made from the sharpening material. These are the simplest to use, as the knife needs to be purely run backwards and forwards, provided the sharpener is set at the right angle. Cleaning: We advise that you clean your knives with warm soapy water. A lot of people do put their knives in the dishwasher, but we will never encourage this. The reason for is because dishwasher detergent is very abrasive, and along with the banging around that happens during a wash cycle, will take the sharp edge right off your knife. (Plus, it's not safe for the person unloading the dishwasher).
