Description

Marshalls Garden Berberis 'Orange Rocket' – a fully hardy, upright shrub that delivers season-long colour and structure. In spring the orange-coral leaves and clusters of small yellow flowers create instant impact, then deepen to wine and dark red through summer and autumn, leaving an architectural winter silhouette. Low-maintenance and pollinator-friendly, this variety suits beds, borders or containers in moist to damp soils. Supplied as 3 x 9cm potted plants, each plant reaches around 120 cm. Plant March–August, keep well watered during establishment and trim in summer if required.

Product Care InstructionsUnpack and, if the weather is favourable, put outside as soon as it arrives and water. When ready to plant, position in the right location and aspect. Keep the area clear to avoid overcrowding. Dig a hole approx. twice as deep and 3 times as wide as the rootball; mix in soil improver if soil is heavy and add plant feed before backfilling. Place the plant at the same level as in the pot, firm the soil around it and water thoroughly. Keep well watered and fed for establishment and growth. Trim in summer if needed.
