Description

Covered in striking navy-blue double flowers as big as your hand, Clematis 'Multi Blue' looks superb scrambling through shrubs, trained up a trellis, or grown in a large pot. The rich blue petals open to reveal silvery centres, creating a full, fluffy appearance. Flowers peak in late spring and early summer, with many plants flowering again in early autumn. Prefers moist but well-drained soils and performs well in borders or containers, reaching about 2.5m in height. Plants are sent selected by our nursery team in a pot.

Product Care InstructionsUnpack and, if the weather is favourable, put outside as soon as it arrives and give it a water. When ready to plant, position in the right location and aspect in the garden. Plant 45cm from the base of a wall, fence, trellis or structure to grow up. Dig a hole approximately twice as deep and 3 times as wide as the plant’s rootball. If soil is heavy, mix in a soil improver before backfilling. Add plant feed into the hole before backfilling to help establishment and growth. Place the plant in the hole so that it sits at the same level in the ground as it did in the pot. Keep the area around it clear to avoid overcrowding. Water regularly to keep the compost moist if not planting straight away.
