This eye-catching, columnar shrub is perfectly suited for the smallest of borders, adding a vibrant burst of colour and serving as a striking architectural focal point. Berberis thunbergii 'Florence' adorns its upright stems with coral pink and orange leaves in spring, creating a captivating display. The hues intensify throughout the summer, transitioning to a rich red in autumn. Delicate yellow flowers emerge in late spring, giving way to red berries by late summer. As with all Japanese Barberry plants, this deciduous shrub is hardy, dependable, and simple to cultivate. An excellent choice for sunny mixed borders, Berberis thunbergii 'Florence' also responds well to pruning, making it an attractive option for neat, bushy hedging. It reaches a height of 150cm (59") and has a spread of 60cm (24"). Supplied in a 9cm grow pot.Please note that plant height and spread are seasonal, so we provide information based on pot size rather than specific dimensions.
