Description

Transform your garden with Viola ‘Bedding Supreme Mixed’, a stunning collection of hybrid violas bursting with vibrant, long-lasting colour. These hardy perennials are perfect for adding a cheerful splash to beds, borders, baskets, and containers, ensuring your outdoor spaces bloom beautifully through spring and summer. How to Grow: - Sow seeds from February to March or June to September on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost. - Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. - Maintain a temperature of 15–20°C (59–68°F) in a propagator or sealed polythene bag, keeping the compost moist but not waterlogged. - Light aids germination, which typically takes 14–21 days. - Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. - Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 10–15 days. - Plant out after all risk of frost has passed, spacing them 23cm (9in) apart, or directly into baskets and containers. These violas offer more than just visual appeal; some petals are edible and can be used to decorate cakes, biscuits, or add a colourful garnish to salads.
