How to Grow: - For containers, sow thinly directly into compost. - For raised beds, plant in 30cm (12") squares, spacing a few seeds every 7.5cm (3") at a depth of 13mm (½"). Germination takes 4–7 days. - As seedlings appear, thin to one per station to achieve 16 plants per square. - Alternatively, sow in rows spaced 23cm (9") apart. - With a cropping period of 7–9 weeks, this variety is ready to harvest in both spring and late autumn. - Regular watering ensures sweet, tender roots with a crisp texture. This variety is a standout for its ornamental contrast in colour and its consistent, hearty flavour.
