Description

Create a stunning display of vibrant magenta-pink flowers with Verbena Nana Compacta 'Magenta' seeds. These seeds produce a long-flowering carpet of colour from June to October, perfect for borders, containers, and hanging baskets. How to Grow: - Sow seeds from February to April on the surface of a good free-draining, damp seed compost. - Lightly cover with vermiculite and maintain a temperature of 24–27°C (75–81°F) until germination, which usually takes 14–21 days. - Do not exclude light as it aids germination. - Keep the compost on the dry side, watering lightly as seedlings emerge. - When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler conditions. - After all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants before transplanting to a sunny position in any well-drained soil, spacing 30cm (12in) apart. - Feed and water regularly throughout summer for a continuous display. Deadheading is not required. This variety is heat and drought tolerant, making it an excellent choice for summer planting. The blooms are also highly attractive to beneficial pollinators, adding extra value to your garden. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity.
