As a hardy biennial, 'Tenderette' F1 provides the advantage of multiple harvests, with plants yielding 2 to 3 crops over a single month, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh produce. How to Grow: - Sow seeds indoors in modules or directly outdoors from March to June. - Plant seeds at a depth of 13mm (½"") and space seedlings 30cm (12"") apart. - Transplant seedlings when they have four to five leaves, ensuring they are spaced 60cm (24"") apart. - Choose a location in rich, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. - Enhance soil fertility with well-rotted farmyard manure prior to planting. - Protect young plants from pests using netting or fleece. - Water regularly to maintain soil moisture and hoe between plants to control weeds and expose potential insect larvae. - Harvest shoots when they reach approximately 15cm (6"") and before the flowers open.
