Transform your hanging baskets and containers with Viola ‘Waterfall’ Mixed, a spectacular trailing pansy variety from Thompson & Morgan. This packet contains approximately 40 seeds, promising a cascade of large, vibrant flowers in both solid and bi-coloured shades. Bred for its vigorous, cascading habit, this pansy offers a long flowering season, providing beautiful colour from early spring for over three months. Its gentle, sweet fragrance adds an extra sensory delight to your garden. How to Grow: - Sow seeds from spring to autumn on the surface of moist, well-drained seed compost. Lightly firm the compost and keep it consistently damp but not waterlogged. - Maintain a temperature of 15–20°C (59–68°F) in a propagator or sealed bag. Germination typically takes 14–21 days. Avoid excessive heat, which can inhibit germination. - Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into cooler conditions and grow them on until they are ready for planting outdoors. - Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before transplanting them into well-drained soil in baskets or containers. Plant in full sun or semi-shade after all risk of frost has passed. - For autumn sowings, overwinter seedlings in a cold frame and plant out in spring. - Water regularly and feed as needed.
