Description

Marshalls Garden Sunflower Seeds 'Summer Lovin' produce tall, branching plants (approx. 1.8m) with unusual light cream petals and a maroon ring around dark centres. Blooming from July to October, they make striking cut flowers and yield edible seeds for cooking. Sow indoors in 7–8cm pots at 15–20°C or sow outdoors 1.5cm deep in pre-watered soil during March–May; harden off before planting out and grow on above 10°C. Prefers well-drained, fertile, organic-rich soil in full sun; water well until established and feed regularly once flowering starts.
