| Product Care Instructions | Sow directly into well-drained soil from early spring, placing seeds 5cm deep and spacing 7–8cm apart. Keep rows 60cm apart and provide support such as pea sticks, netting or trellis for climbing varieties. Water regularly, especially during flowering, to support healthy pod formation. Start feeding when flowers appear. Apply a high-potash liquid feed every two weeks until the end of harvest, or use a granular fertiliser monthly, watered in well at the base of plants. Pick peas from the bottom upwards, ideally in the morning when sugar levels are at their highest. Regular picking encourages plants to keep producing. |
