Description

Marshalls Garden Kale Seeds 'Yurok' F1 (20 seeds) is a compact Cavolo Nero variety that delivers a high yield of crinkled dark blue-green leaves with good flavour. Harvest from early autumn through late winter. Sow thinly in moist seed compost and keep at 10–15°C until seedlings appear. When seedlings have about four true leaves, transplant to final positions allowing 60cm (24in) between plants and gradually harden off over 2–3 weeks. Plants grow to around 75cm and are ideal for pots, patios, small gardens, vegetable plots and raised beds. Protect young plants with netting from Cabbage White Butterfly and keep soil moist until established, watering well in dry spells.
