Description

Marshalls Garden ‘Gourmansun’ F1 is an oxheart tomato producing large, heart-shaped fruits with golden-orange skins and red streaks when ripe. Fruits can weigh up to 250g and have juicy, aromatic flesh with few seeds, making them ideal for salads and sandwiches. Sow indoors from January to April in peat-free seed compost, cover seeds with about 1cm of compost or vermiculite, water gently, and keep covered to maintain humidity in a warm, bright spot. Once seedlings appear, remove the cover, keep compost moist, rotate trays to prevent leaning, and prick out into individual pots when large enough. Transplant into larger pots, growbags, or the ground after all risk of frost has passed; provide canes or strings for cordon varieties and keep plants in a warm, sheltered position for best yields.
