Paul John 6 Year Old - Batch 6 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Small yet bold, paul John distillery uses six row barley that is sourced from foothills of the Himalayas. Inside this Indian single malt whisky from the Paul John distillery, located in tropical Goa. The high fibre and protein content in six row barley, offers a distinct tannic character to the spirit. The tropical climate for maturation means a high angel’s share, 8-10%, as opposed to Scotland’s 2-3%. After just six years of maturation, around 40% of the cask contents is lost to evaporation. That loss would take around 24 years in Scotland! In this cracking addition to That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Cinema Series, with a label that imagines James Bond, Bollywood style. Batch 6 is a release of 175 bottles. That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. Here are whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
