Item no. 510007081 item description: 1:72 T-55. The 1:72 stand model is a resensation of the T-55 tank, which was produced by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II. The T-55 The model includes some of the main features of the famous Russian T-34 tank from the 2nd World War which is characterised by a simple design. The T-55 is considered to be one of the most remarkable MBTs (Main Battle Tanks) manufactured after World War II and features from the T-54 design to the introduction of an improved engine, more space for ammunition and a more effective ABC (Nuclear Biological) protection. The tank was armed with a 100 mm cannon and came to a total weight of 35 tonnes including the armoured protection. The T-55 tank was used in a variety of operational scenarios during military history. Length of model: 12.5 cm
