While a traditional barley bale works well to clear your pond, its dependence on slow decomposition, temperature, and aeration often means long wait times and inconsistent results. Using modern biological technology and the proven science of matured barley straw, Pure Bale in a Bottle provides all the benefits of traditional barley straw, but with several key advantages:
The treatment is fast acting. It’s pre-conditioned and activated by a quick shake. It’s designed to start working much faster, providing quicker support for your pond.
Using barley straw in liquid form allows for easy, simple and precise weekly dosage, ensuring consistent treatment and maintenance.
The natural, fish and wildlife friendly formula for the treatment delivers the prove results of bales without the resulting debris and maintenance that comes with it.
The gel is enhanced with beneficial bacteria, these bacteria work alongside the barely extract to boost your ponds ecosystem, improve water clarity, and promote a balanced, healthy environment by consuming excess waste and nutrients that would otherwise fuel blanket weed growth.
Please note – a strong smell is expected. This means the good bacteria are alive and working.
Dosage:Add 10ml per 1,000 litres (220 gallons) every week, after each water change. For ponds exposed to full sun and with existing algae, double the dose rate for the initial 4 doses.
For Best Results:Keep pond water pH above 7, keep Chlorine level at 0, perform regular water changes, keep the pond oxygenated via an air pump and diffuser, UVC must be off when dosing and off for 12 hours after.
