Ledaig - Murray McDavid Benchmark Uitvlugt Rum Cask Finish 2009 15 year old Whisky This heavily peated, maritime malt from Ledaig has been elevated by exotic rum casks from Guyana. The Uitvlugt Distillery produced a rich, ester-heavy style of rum, until it closed in 2000.Nose: Banana custard, smoky apple and coastal notes.Palate: Grilled peach, pineapple with sweet embers.Finish: Oily peat, tropical fruits ans a faint sea spray.
