Glen Grant - Mr George Legacy Fourth Edition - Single Cask #3818 1958 65 year old Whisky Laid down by ‘Mr George’ Urquhart in 1958, this whisky has been carefully nurtured for 65 years in a first fill Sherry butt. Mr George’s legacy lives with us today through not only his whiskies, but the knowledge entrusted to the generations that followed him.Aroma: Rich beeswax aromas lead to underlying molasses, stewed prunes and warm spices. Subtle aged leather develops alongside mature oak and a hint of cocoa powder.Taste: Smooth and full bodied, seville orange peel and morello cherry flavours give way to dried tobacco and roasted coffee bean. Toasted oak notes come to the fore with a touch of liquorice.Finish: Long and balanced with a faint hint of smoke.Distilled: 23rd October 1958Bottled: 1st November 2023
