Glendronach - Single Cask #2662 (Batch 14) 1989 26 year old Whisky 16.4/20 Whisky Magazine (July 17)"Nose: Chewing a dark chocolate caramel as you walk to a varnished mahogany sideboard sporting a leather chamois, before spotting a bowl containing honeydew melons.Palate: Chewy, gooey caramel and chocolate pudding with nuts, a green capsicum note and szechuan pepper. More leather.Finish: Leathery, dry and earthy. Used espresso granules. Once this dissipates, it's all about banana bread.Comments: Satisfying. Leather and chocolate notes balanced by tropical flavours."
