When added to pool water the reaction time can be as long as 24 hours.DIRECTIONS FOR USERemove swimming pool cover until chlorine level has dropped below 5ppm (parts per million)Ensure pool circulation pump is running when applying this product.Pre-dissolve product into a clean plastic bucket of warm water. Stir until product is fully dissolved.Slowly pour solution into pool directly above the pool return. (Do not pour solution into skimmer)Chlorine Reducer when applied to pool water at a rate of 800gm per 50 cubic metres (11,000 gallons) of pool water will reduce the chlorine content by approximately 10ppm (parts per million).After applying Chlorine Reducer, run pool circulation pump continuously and wait at least 24hours before re-testing chlorine or bromine level.
