Description

When it comes to preparing your favourite Chinese dishes, few utensils are as useful as an authentic ‘spider’ skimmer. KitchenCraft World of Flavours' take on this important tool combines a traditional design with high-quality materials to serve you well on your culinary adventures.Chinese chefs use this for scooping and straining from hot oil and water. Try it yourself and you’ll see why it’s such an essential. The fine stainless steel mesh basket gently lifts the smallest ingredients, while letting liquids drain back into the pan. It’s great for lifting golden wontons, straining crispy chilli beef, or skimming fat from a crab and sweetcorn soup. And it’s not just for Chinese dishes! This spider spoon comes in handy for lots of daily cooking tasks, from serving hot potatoes from the roasting pan, to scooping boiled eggs from boiling water. In fact, this Far-East factotum might just become the most useful utensil in your kitchen!
