That's why they've created this clever non-metal potato masher, which has a soft silicone coating that's ideal for non-stick cookware. Bash it around the pan all you want, because those precious non-stick coatings won't suffer a scratch. Vegetables aren't so lucky, though. With its sturdy nylon core and ribbed mashing plate, it quickly turns stubborn veg into smooth clouds of delicious mash. Then – get this – you can serve your mash without the need for any extra tools! The raised lip lets you scoop that fluffy yumminess right out of the pan. Now that's a bright idea. Like all of Colourworks' silicone utensils, this silicone rubber potato masher has a comfort-shaped, textured handle, so mashing is easy on your hands. The silicone is rated to LFGB standards, and is heat resistant to 260°C (500°F). Dreading washing up? It's stain and odour resistant, and dishwasher safe too.
