Preparation and Usage

Allow steak to rest for 20 minutes at room temperature before cooking.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: Pan fry 6-14 mins Rub or brush the steak with a little oil and season with sea salt. Heat a heavy based dry frying pan over a high heat until very hot. Add the steak to the pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for a further 2-3 minutes each side (rare), 3-4 minutes each side (medium), 3 minutes 30 seconds - 6 minutes each side (well done). Remove the steak from the pan and rest on a warm plate for 5 minutes before serving. These instructions are given as a guideline only as steak thickness will vary slightly.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
