Instructions: Allow steak to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking.Rub or brush steak with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.Heat a heavy based frying pan over high heat for 2-3 minutes until hot.Place steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 2 minutes each side.Oven 220°C/Fan 200°C/Gas 8Place in a pre-heated oven and continue to cook for a further 10-14 minutes (rare), 12-16 minutes (medium) or 20-24 minutes (well done).Allow steak to rest for 10 minutes before serving.TIPTo enjoy this prime beef at its best, we recommend searing it for a few minutes on each side before placing in the oven.

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
