Ingredients

  • 300ml cloudy apple juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 300ml (1/2pt) ginger ale

Method

  1. Pour the applejuice into a large saucepan and add the cinnamon, cloves andstar anise. Heat to just under a simmer, then keep it there for 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and let the juice to infuse for 5 more minutes, then remove the spices and add in the ginger ale.
  3. Ladle into cups to serve.
