Pear with chocolate sauce and hazelnuts recipe

Ingredients
- 150g 70% dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
- 50g unsalted butter, diced
- 4 tbsp golden syrup
- 100g hazelnuts
- 2 pears, sliced

Method
- Firstly, prepare a batch of pancakes (see tip below).
- In a pan, combine the chocolate, butter and golden syrup over a low heat, stirring until melted. Remove from the heat.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pan, gently toast the hazelnuts for 2-3 mins, or until golden. Remove from the heat and leave to cool a little, then roughly chop.
- Stir three quarters of the hazelnuts into the chocolate. To serve, divide the pear slices between 4 pancakes. Top with the chocolate sauce, and then scatter over the remaining hazelnuts.
