Grilled pork steaks with ginger and orange sauce

Grilled pork is given an upgrade in this simple dinner recipe. Dressed in a ginger and orange sauce, the humble pork loin is finally able to live up to its full flavour potential for you to enjoy. Serve with new potatoes and broccoli.

Method

  1. In a small pan, heat the marmalade, orange juice, ginger and hoisin sauce, stirring until the marmalade has dissolved. Then bring just to the boil and cook for a minute to thicken slightly. Season to taste.
  2. Rub 4 of the pork steaks with a little oil, season and cook under a medium grill for 5-6 minutes each side.
  3. Put the cooked pork on 4 plates and pour on the sauce. Serve with boiled new potatoes and broccoli.
