Gorgonzola burgers with Cajun fries recipe

Created by The Tesco Recipes team
Make midweek burgers a thing with these ready-made beef patties — just beef, salt and pepper, nothing else. Air fry to juicy perfection and serve with frozen skin-on fries and a quick homemade pickle that balances perfectly against the rich, tangy gorgonzola. Semi-scratch cooking doesn't get much better than this.

Method
- Preheat the oven to gas 7, 220°C, fan 200°C and pop in a baking sheet. For the pickle, whisk together the honey, vinegar, oil, celery salt and dill. Add the apple and celery; stir well. Set aside for 20 mins (or make up to 4 hrs ahead and keep chilled).
- Cook the fries for 15-18 mins on the baking sheet. After 10 mins, toss them in the Cajun seasoning. Add the buns, cut-side up, for the final 2 mins.
- Meanwhile, rub the burgers with a little oil and air-fry at 180°C for 11 mins, turning halfway, until cooked through (or follow the pack instructions to cook in the oven). Place the cheese on the burgers and air-fry for 1 min more until melted.
- Spread the buns with mayo, then fill with the burgers and pickle. Sprinkle the fries with the cider vinegar to serve.
